Michael is a highly accomplished Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a passion for process improvement. With expertise in his field, he has established a remarkable track record in setting up extensive Continuous Improvement programs from the ground up. Among other qualifications, he holds degrees in Mathematics and Management of Innovation.

Through his guidance and implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Michael has helped numerous organisations and large Automation projects across Europe optimise their operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. He is an experienced People Manager who promotes the power of teamwork.

Joe O’Connell

With more than thirty years experience in the food industry, Joe has built up a vast wealth of knowledge. As Managing Director of Feldhues GmbH, Ireland, Joe was responsible for the strategic development of the company over a 23-year period, liaising with suppliers and customers.

Joe also spent seven years as Factory / Production Manager at Feldhues from which he brings a huge knowledge of production and operations management. Previously Joe had spent time with Biko Foods and Ballybay Meats.

After working in the Meat industry for 13 years, Padraig set up his own business in 2000. Started at the Garage at the back of the house to becoming Ireland largest producer of bottled water in 2018, producing 135 million bottles.

With over 30 years’ experience, Padraig has vast experience in Managing Supply Chains, Major Retailers , Foodservice and Wholesale companies.

Padraig has successfully overseen the Procurement, Installation of Equipment and Project Managed the Construction of multimillion Warehouse and Offices facilities.

Cian has 17 years of experience in Senior Leadership positions driving operational improvements and Lean strategy in sectors such as food production, medical technology, engineering-manufacturing and healthcare.

His expertise in business process mapping, lean management systems, and change leadership has delivered significant cost reductions and efficiency gains for leading organisations. His expertise includes optimising processes, reducing waste & costs, and improving efficiencies through Lean methodologies.

Cian has driven substantial operational improvements including step change productivity and labour cost improvements, alongside a prime cost reduction of over €4.5 million over three years at Kerry Group. Cian has overseen ERP implementations, operational restructures, automation projects and  key strategic initiatives.

Robert Potter is an accredited Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt, Lean Practitioner, Prince two consultant and a Business Insolvency Recovery Specialist.

Robert Potter has over twenty years of experience in Business Process Improvement and innovation in a variety of leading companies, including Barclays Bank group, Avery Dennison, Vodafone, US Air Force, LM, DOD, EMC2, Bilfinger and Boston consulting Group.

Robert was recently awarded by the EU Business News (Irish Enterprise Awards 2023) as “Business Growth Consultant for the Year 2023”

With over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Declan has held key engineering and management roles across production, NPD, automation projects, and lean implementation. He has successfully led multiple shift teams, fostering a continuous improvement culture by embedding lean tools and techniques to optimise performance and exceed production KPIs. His project management experience includes overseeing budgets of €250k+ for new line introductions and managing a €2.5m automation project. Declan has delivered NPI projects, including technology transfers, staff training, and facility setup.

Declan has implemented KPIs to drive performance and streamline data collection through digital tools, ensuring accurate and consistent metrics. He has worked with multinational companies to design lean operating systems, focusing on Kaizen and continuous improvement through employee engagement and training. Holding a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, an MSc in Strategic Quality Management, and a B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering, Declan’s consultancy experience spans industries such as construction, food, furniture, engineering, and cosmetics.

Tom Cody

With a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Manufacturing along with other educational awards in Engineering, Tom has 16+ years industry experience in highly regulated, drug/device manufacturing environment, Food processing industry, primarily in business-critical roles such as Engineering, Operations, and Quality.

Tom has overseen, led, and been involved in several high-value projects and programs within technical, operational, logistical, and behavioural based, up to the value of €10M.

Aaron is a qualified company director with the Institute of Directors holding a Diploma in Company Direction and his journey, coupled with the William J Clinton Emerging Leaders of the Future Program at Queens University, has honed his coaching, mentoring, and training skills. Beyond theory, he embodies Lean operational excellence, translating successes and challenges into valuable lessons.

With over 15 years of experience in the lean industry, Aaron has steered a family business to an annual turnover surpassing £200 million. His crowning achievement as the UK Plant Manager of the Year reflects his dedication and insight.

As an architect of Lean transformation, Aaron seamlessly aligns improvements with strategic objectives, supported by a robust network spanning mechanical engineers to IT professionals.
